The Inland Empire Cello Choir is an ensemble of four highly active cellists from Moscow, Idaho, and Kennewick and Walla Walla, Washington. Cellists Bill and Linda Wharton, Michelle Cameron and Edward Dixon are members of one or bother of the Walla Walla and Mid-Columbia Symphonies as well as others. Bill Wharton is a past member of the University of Idaho music faculty and Edward Dixon taught at Whitman College. Michelle Cameron is active as a scientist in the Tri-Cities when not playing music. Linda Wharton is a busy teacher and soloist throughout the region. The Cello Choir performs a wide variety of traditional and popular pieces and when piano is needed, either Bill or Linda Wharton double as piano accompanist. The Inland Empire Cello Choir creates a truly harmonious, rich sonority not to be missed.
