  • Walla Walla Symphony principal flutist Leonard Garrison is married to WWS principal clarinetist Shannon Scott. They form the Scott/Garrison Duo, which has recorded three albums.
     
  • Charles Ives worked as an insurance clerk while composing on the side. In 1907 he started his own insurance firm, Ives & Co.
