The Walla Walla Symphony begins its 106th season as the oldest continuously operating symphony west of the Mississippi. For 25 years, the orchestra has been under the artistic leadership of Music Director and Conductor, Yaacov Bergman and has performed in Cordiner Hall on the Whitman College campus since 1967. Composed of musicians from Walla Walla and around the region, the orchestra is recognized for its adventurous programming, school programs, and tradition of performing original compositions. From October through July, the Walla Walla Symphony plays or sponsors concerts in a schedule that includes a mix of classical concerts, special concerts and Guest Artist Soirees.
