Local guitarist Michael LeFevre joins the Walla Walla Symphony as the featured soloist for Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo. This program also features Mozart’s classic Symphony No. 40 and Ravel’s Le tombeau de Couperin.

With daring maneuvers, amazing displays of contortion, flexibility, and control, the Peking Acrobats are masters of agility and grace and their gravity defying acts will be accompanied by musicians skillfully playing traditional Chinese instruments.
Mark and Maggie O’Connor are back with the whole band! This program will feature a wondrous mixture of Christmas carols, fiddling, bluegrass and other traditional American music.

The 2017-2018 Season opens with special guest artist Tim Fain performing Portland-based composer Kenji Bunch’s Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra and Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor. The program closes with Brahms' Symphony No. 1 in C minor.
The Walla Walla Symphony Youth Orchestra will be holding auditions on Saturday, September 9th and Sunday, September 10th from 1:00-4:00pm in the Chism Hall of Music at Whitman College
